In this age group preparation is more about what you will need to take to make the trip easier.
- You need to pack a lot for such a little person, know where all items are in the nappy bag when you need them in a hurry and pack spare essential items, e.g. dummies, bibs etc.
- if travelling long haul, I would always recommend a stop over for at least one day or part of; this will allow everyone to have a good sleep, shower, restock food or formula, and let the kids have a run. The stop over becomes a part of the holiday.
